From January 2025 onwards, in addition to Finnish and Swedish versions, bulletins in English are published once a month to the SRAL webpage. If you have any content, news or information that you would like to be included in the bulletin, please contact the office by email (toimisto@nullsral.fi).
Ham radio events in August
Kuopion Seitoset OH7AA organises a summer outing on Saturday 2nd August. The event takes place in Kuopio, Northern Savonia and the address is Tikkalantie 6, Kuopio. There will be a flea market, a barbecue, as well as hanging out with like-minded radio amateurs. The programme is updated to OH7AA’s webpage.
Laaksojen Radioamatöörit OH8AAU organises a summer camp between 15th and 17th August at Urjanlinna in Sievi, South Ostrobothnia. There will be a flea market and some programmes such as presentations, talks. You can also relax with other hams as well as enjoy nature and surroundings. Valkeakosken Radioamatöörit OH3AB’s summer camp takes place between 22nd and 24th August. On Saturday, you can spend time at a general flea market – you are also welcome to bring your own amateur radio items for sale and browse other ham vendors’ offerings! Hämeenlinnan Radioamatöörit, OH3AA, organises an open flea market at their club house in Hakapellontie, Hämeenlinna, Tavastia Proper. This popular event is on Sunday 24th August. Aside from the flea market, there will be festivities to commemorate the club’s 70th anniversary. For more information, see the club’s webpage.

You can directly contact an examiner to arrange an exam time and location. The contact details and locations of qualification examiners can be found on the qualification examiners’ page.
How do I update my contact information or changes to my amateur radio license?
You can submit updates online using this form (in Finnish and Swedish). Alternatively, you can email (toimisto@nullsral.fi) or call the office +358 9562 5973.

In 2024 the service hours of the office are on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 AM to 3 PM and on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 3 PM. On Wednesdays the phone service and the office are closed.
