Bulletin 03/2026

From January 2025 onwards, in addition to Finnish and Swedish versions, bulletins in English are published once a month to the SRAL webpage. If you have any content, news or information that you would like to be included in the bulletin, please contact the office by email (toimisto@nullsral.fi). 

Membership fees 2026

The SRAL membership fee for 2026 is 69 euros. Discounts apply to old timers, juniors and for those who will switch from paper copy of Radioamatööri magazine to the digital edition. You can fill the form here: Ilmoittaudu digilehden tilaajaksi tästä. The form is in Finnish. 

Invoices have been sent. These have arrived by post unless you have selected the online banking option previously. Please do pay only using the details of the invoice 2026 and not with references from previous years, for example. The Nordic DX & Contest Meeting in May 2026

OHDXF and CCF organise the 25th Nordic meeting on 15th to 17th May at the Hotel Arkipelagi in Åland Islands. You can find more information on the event location from the hotel’s webpage. There will be more information on the programme at OHDXF’s webpage closer to the event. 

Nordic VUSHF Meeting

RATS organises the 46th Nordic VUSHF meeting in Raisio, Finland Proper from 15th to 17th May. You can find further information closer to the event from RATS’s webpage.

The League’s summer camp 2026 in Eerikkilä, Tammela

The annual summer camp 2026 is organised by Riihimäen Kolmoset OH3AD – a club located in Tavastia Proper region. The summer camp will take place in Eerikkilä Sport & Resort in Tammela, Tavastia Proper in Southern Finland. The event will be held between 16th and 19th of July 2026. International amateur radio magazines available for download

League members can download ham radio magazines published by other Nordic countries. The digital editions are available free of charge from the member archive

In order to download files from the archive, you will need a working email address, which you have provided to the League’s office. You can enable downloads by sending your email address to SRAL office using this form: Update your contact info

Forthcoming courses

There are three courses for future hams. Helsinki Hacklab in the capital region will organise a course from 5th March onwards. OH7AB in Joensuu, Northern Karelia will organise a course from 14th March onwards. Lastly, MPK will organise a HF course in Pirkkala, Pirkanmaa at the weekend of 13th to 15th March. 

Welcome to SMLA!

North hunt – Nordic municipalities (SM – LA – OH – OZ) – A contest for radio amateurs, which can participate to activate and chase municipalities in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Moreover, it is simple. Logs can be uploaded on the website in the ADIF format, or be entered manually. All that is required is that you register and log in and pay the fee of 100SEK. Feel free to send in a gift if you like. Sweden (290), Norway (357), Finland (309) and Denmark (98) have 1054 municipalities all together and the goal is to work all. The race is a points race where a contact is equivalent to 2 points. With the help of Google Maps in our search engine, you can quickly and easily locate areas near you, or your vacation-haunt. You can directly contact an examiner to arrange an exam time and location. The contact details and locations of qualification examiners can be found on the qualification examiners’ page.

How do I update my contact information or changes to my amateur radio license?
