How do I become a member of SRAL?

How do I update my contact information or changes to my amateur radio license with SRAL?
You can submit updates online using this form (in Finnish and Swedish). Alternatively, you can call the office +358 9562 5973.
How can I book a radio amateur exam?
You can directly contact an examiner to arrange an exam time and location. The contact details and locations of qualification examiners can be found on the qualification examiners’ page.
Where can I read bulletins?
Bulletins in Finnish and Swedish are published on SRAL website every Friday. The latest bulletins are accessible directly on the bottom of the front page. The list of bulletins is available on the bulletins page. Bulletins in Swedish can be found here.
Where can I read Radioamatööri magazine online?
The digital version of the Radioamatööri magazine is available to download in PDF format for SRAL members on the member site magazine archive at: https://members.sral.fi/
To download, you will need an email address that you have provided to the SRAL office. You can update your email address with this form.
If you encounter issues with downloading the magazines, feel free to contact the office via email at: toimisto@nullsral.fi. It is possible that in the membership register might be a different email address from the one you are using to download the magazines.
When is the Radioamatööri magazine mailed?
The magazine’s mailing dates can be found on the magazine page. In 2024 the magazine is mailed as follows:

Where can I find minutes of SRAL’s meetings?
The minutes of SRAL’s meetings are available for SRAL members to download in PDF format in the documents section of the member site magazine archive: https://members.sral.fi.
Board meeting minutes are typically published about 2 weeks after board meetings. Member meetings minutes (i.e., spring and autumn meetings) are published after being reviewed.
To download minutes, you will need an email address that you have provided to the SRAL office. You can update your email address with the office using this form or by calling the office (+358 9562 5973).

How can I activate or change the auto-invitation resend service via email?
The auto-invitation resend service has been suspended on 2nd March 2024 due to several technical issues.

When are SRAL’s board question hours held?
The next question hours of the SRAL’s board will take place on Saturdays at 14:00 on frequency 3685 kHz on the following dates:
- 8th June 2024
- 27th July 2024 (at the summer camp, time TBA)
- 5th October 2024
- 7th December 2024
If there is traffic on frequency 3685 kHz at the start of the question hour it may be moved to a nearby frequency within 3680-3695 kHz.

In 2024 the service hours of the office are on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 AM to 3 PM and on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 3 PM. On Wednesdays the phone service and the office are closed.
